To install laForge Plugins and other tools download Portal and login to your account.
Make sure that corresponding software is closed, for example, if you are installing the laForge Suite, all Adobe software is closed.
Then click the Download button next to your desired tool. The software will then be downloaded and installed.
If you see an orange X watermark, make sure you are logged into your Pro Account in Portal and then select Refresh License in your Effects Controls panel.
In the latest update to ProductionCrate's Portal, you can now organize your VFX, Music, Sound FX and Graphics assets instantly.
To enable, first launch Portal
- Navigate to the Asset Manager tab
- Select 'Choose Folder' and select where you want to store your downloads
- Enable the Asset Downloader
Download assets from ProductionCrate.com and they'll automatically be organized in Portal. Find your downloads in the Asset Library tab.
Once you've enabled the Asset Manager in Portal, all your media downloads will instantly be organized.
You can preview assets in the Asset Library, just hover your mouse over your VFX downloads to see them playback in real time.
To import your assets into After Effects, DaVinci, Premiere or any editing software, just click and drag the preview into the software.
You must be logged into the same account/username on both the Website and the Portal Application for the download manager to work.
If you ever wish to change drives or reorganize your workstation, simply choose a new storage location. Portal will ask if you want to migrate your existing assets. Hit Confirm, and Portal will transfer everything automatically—no manual sorting required.
