You can choose from 3 Liquid Glass presets in the plugin to get the fastest results.

How to create Liquid Glass in After Effects

Use Crates Glass by applying it to an Adjustment Layer, and use the Texture selector to define the shape of your glass. The glass should be represented by the alpha channel.

Anything beneath the adjustment layer (such as your background) will be distorted by the light that is transferred through the glass material.

The shape of the glass material is defined by the secondary texture chosen in the plugin. We recommend this being another layer, or a precomposition, for easy predictable results.

Refine the bevelling of your glass in the Glass Shape dropdown, and modify the look/behaviour of the light that travels through the glass in the Glass Material dropdown.
